We had asked Matthew many times if he wanted to hold Kaylee, but he always politely declined. Then one day when Kaylee was about six weeks old, completely out of the blue, Matthew came up as I was finishing feeding her and said "Can I hold her?"  I turned over the pillow and settled them in the chair. They were both a bit unsure about the arrangement at first, but warmed up to it quickly.
